GreenWay Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to join our growing team! In this role you will be primarily responsible for the daily processing, maintenance, and oversight of all deposit-related transactions for our customers. You’ll work collaboratively with branch staff and other internal partners to ensure that documented procedures are followed and help ensure regulatory compliance in the bank’s daily operations, as well as ensuring that a high level of service is provided for our customers.  

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that documented procedures are followed in the execution of bank operations
  • Work with management to help identify and implement process efficiencies
  • Assist in the collection of requested data and responses for bank assessments and audits
  • Responsible for processing and performing the following tasks daily or as required:
    • RIM/Reject Processing
    • Non-Post Reports
    • Overdrafts/Charged Off Process
    • Holds/Stop Payments and Review
    • Item Processing- Mobile RDC/Teller Work
    • Closed Account Report
    • Dormant/Escheatment Process
    • IRA Processing
    • DNE/Prenotes
    • SSI Request/Verifications
    • Account Verifications
    • Levies/Garnishments/Subpoenas
  • Responsible for reviewing new consumer accounts and performing account maintenance activity
    • Track, monitor, and communicate outstanding documentation to frontline representatives and appropriate management
  • Review Retail Sweep and TMS set up/maintenance
  • Debit card disputes and Reg E tracking, perform debit card maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Statements/Notices/EOY tax reporting maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Provide support for Mobile and Online Banking and Bill Pay services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience with Bank Operations or Front-Line Support strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with bank call center/customer service strongly preferred
  • Must possess a strong commitment to internal and external customer service
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required with ability to tactfully address situations and resolve issues in a collaborative manner
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to teach and foster development in others
